In the context of the “Weltwärts” programme and specific to its project activities BORDA has selected 11 volunteers to work with its local partner organizations in Asia and Africa.
The first volunteer, Christina Duong, with professional qualification in international business and intercultural communication as well as work experience in Germany, Switzerland and China has started her service with the BORDA partner organization CDD (Consortium for DEWATS Dissemination) in Bangalore in August. During the next 11 months she will be working on the further enhancement of basic need services (BNS). Her specific task will be to develop tools for the assessment of the implementation of BNS projects.
Ten further Weltwärts volunteers will be supporting other BORDA partners in India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Lesotho before long.
