The Kolping House Brasov has 21 employees who did not work in this area before and 13 of whom were offered vocational training and advanced training courses. Five of those apprentices belong to a socially underprivileged societal group.
The Kolping House could account for 190 seminar days in total with 4500 overnight stays in 2007. In addition, the Kolping House offered courses to become a cook or a waiter in which 105 persons took part in and 37 of them could finish their apprenticeship in 2007 and were able to start a job. In the scope of this cooperation with other hotels and boarding houses 40 persons were able to complete a course to become a manager in the hotel business. The Kolping Society of Romania thanks all friends, donors and also the employees for their commitment that only made it possible for the Kolping House in Brasov to receive award.
