
The concept is based on the idea of fair trade and the thought of responsible consumption. At the producers’ level, it is above all about sustainable development and the use of organic agriculture. Within the scope of this concept, there are Kolping Families who use fruit to make liqueurs, others produce sauces and others create textiles.
A large trade fair took place in Cordoba in September in which approx. 400 groups of the solidarity-based economy participated and which was well received by the consumers. The successes in the field of the solidarity-based economy are an incentive to more and more Kolping Families and Kolping members to accept this concept of doing business.
