For a whole year they will become acquainted with the work of the human rights organisation CODEHUCO, which is located in Comalcalco, in the South Mexican state of Tabasco. Presumably in September 2009 the next two volunteers will be send to Nicaragua.
The volunteers consist of students as well as young professionals. The AWO International program is in specific directed at young employees or trainees of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (Workers’ Welfare).
