By the social care of children and adolescents, through community and district centers and by offering workshops on health care, political and cultural activities the social structures are being changed positively. In the contaminated areas of the Kolar Gold Fields in Southern India a Center for Vocational Training is opening up new perspectives against mass unemployment after the gold mines closed down.
