Negotiation skills and social dialogue
In order to prepare the trade unions for the new demands and challenges of social dialogue the ‘Instituto Cuesta Duarte’ of the Uruguayan Trade Union Federation PIT-CNT offers basic courses as well as subject- and branch oriented seminars covering labour, economical and social topics. There will also be special training on techniques of collective bargaining and trade union information policies. These measures should increase the participant’s articulation capabilities, their expertise in negotiations and generally support trade unions ability to successfully conduct social dialogue with business and politics.
